Sweden is a wonderful place to visit. It is a gorgeous place with high standard of living. Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, has earned its reputation as a model for progressive society. Gothenburg and Malmo are the places with urban delights and away from the cities. There are vast areas of scenic coastline and pleasant islands.
In the summer, the wilderness areas of Norrland have the legendary midnight sun, Artic Scandinavia’s highest mountain and wonderful hiking trails. Sweden has the pristine beauty. It is a land of cultural contrast from the Dutch influence of the southwest to the nomadic Laplenders in the wild Arctic north.
The best time to visit the place in sunny days is from late May and late July. Many attractions only open in summer from the late June to mid-August. In Christmas, Stockholm shuts down for only two or three days around Christmas and midsummer. There are vacations for two or three days on Christmas and midsummer.
